Nick Garulay,
President/Owner
Nick moved to Florida in 1996 to turn his
dream of owning a highline and exotic car dealership into a reality.
Passionate about cars since a young child he set out to offer the best
quality pre-owned vehicles on the market and decided Florida owned cars were
the ones to sell. Striving to provide the level of customer service he had
not found at any other dealership, he quickly established a strong
reputation as an honest and trustworthy dealer.

Scott Winning, recently promoted to Sales Manager
on 8/15/08
Scott brings over 20 years of experience
to Ambassador Auto Sales. Born and raised in NJ, he moved here to "paradise"
in 2001 after 14 years of convincing his wife and two children! Always
working with highline vehicles he started as a service dispatcher with
Mercedes and moved into sales in less than a year. He has worked in sales,
finance and management with Mercedes, BMW and Porsche new car franchises as
well as with pre-owned Exotics of all types. He has seen first hand the
benefit of buying a pre-owned car versus new, providing you can find the
right car from the right person at a fair price. He believes we should thank
the person who bought the cars brand new for paying for the worst part - the

Nick's Story
My name is Nick Garulay and I am the owner and
President of Ambassador Auto
Sales Inc. I offer my professional knowledge and service and strive for
complete customer satisfaction.
I have been infatuated with cars since I was
5 years old. When I was 10 I could tell my father what kind of vehicle was
coming down the road just from the headlights. When I turned 14 years old I
bought and sold my first vehicle before I had a drivers license. I knew that this
was what I wanted to do for a career.
I started walking into the retail
dealerships and negotiating deals on cars that I never intended on buying. Sure
this wasn't the right thing to do to the poor salesman that was dealing with me
but I got a rush from negotiating.
When I finally got my drivers license I
started to test drive the cars from all the high end franchise dealerships.
Every vehicle from foreign to domestic I could tell you a story about.
One day I walked into the Porsche dealership
and sat down with the salesman and started to negotiate a deal on a new Porsche
Twin Turbo. The salesman was no match for me so he brought in his sales
manager. Keep in mind I had no intentions of buying this vehicle but it was one
of my favorite cars.
We went back and forth for hours. Finally
when it came time to test drive I took the salesman for the ride of his life.
He was so impressed with my knowledge of cars he begged his manager to
hire me for his sales team.
I started selling Porsches at the age of 17. I was the top sales person out of 13 sales associates. I was very
customer focused and a great problem solver.
One day
the manager called me in for a meeting and expressed anger over my
attentiveness to my customers. He said I was being too generous!!
Keep in mind that I always wanted to have my
own business but never had the funds to do so. I remember the demand for Florida
vehicles when I lived in Boston and how easy they were to sell.
I closed my bank account with a whopping
8,000 dollar balance and moved to Naples, Florida.
Although Naples seemed like the area to come
before you die, this is the used car Mecca. The vehicles here are garage kept
and in showroom condition. Naples cars are very easy to sell.
Now I knew I wanted to deal only in high
end vehicles but I didn't have the funds available. I focused more on my
reputation and customer satisfaction. I was dealing with $500.00 cars and supplying
the local Haitian and Mexican market.
In 2 years I managed to save up enough money
to buy my first Mercedes Benz S class. This is a favorite vehicle. I had been
watching eBay motors for a short time but did not understand how people could
buy something so large 'sight unseen'.
I cleaned this Mercedes Benz S class and
went through it with a fine tooth comb. I fixed every glitch and made
the vehicle a 'need nothing' car. I took some pictures and figured out how to list
it on eBay.
A customer called me within 2 days of the
auction's start and wanted to purchase the vehicle. I told the customer all of the
items that I repaired and how I operate my business. He was so impressed
that he wired me funds for the vehicle without seeing it first.
Although I lost $200 on the sale I
discovered my niche. With the reputation that I had locally I decided to
expand to a worldwide market and sell vehicles on the internet. I have been doing
this for the last 6 years during which time I have sold over 1000 vehicles. These
vehicles have
been fully inspected and serviced. Each and every vehicle was inspected with my
fine tooth comb. I have worked very hard for my reputation and will continue to
do so.
I HAND PICK EVERY VEHICLE AND ONLY BUY
VEHICLES THAT I WOULD OWN PERSONALLY.

is taken to assure complete customer satisfaction!!
STEP
1. I walk around the vehicle and make a list of any items that need
to be addressed
cosmetically.
STEP
2. The vehicle is inspected here at my service facility
mechanical inspection is performed. Fluids are changed to assure the vehicle
needs nothing when my customer takes possession.
STEP 3. I attend to my list
of cosmetic issues and make repairs with no expense spared.
STEP 4. The
vehicle detailed here at the facility which is done extensively!!
STEP 5. The vehicle is
taken to my photo area and I perform a professional photo shoot like my
vehicle
is a model for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazine!
STEP 6. I return to the
office to load every picture and post a very detailed description of each and
every vehicle on eBay Motors.
STEP 7. I wait for you to
call and begin the transaction.

STEP 8. Once the vehicle is
funded I arrange nationwide shipping for you at your expense.

STEP 9. You
receive your new vehicle and call me to tell me how happy you are and that you
will tell all of your family and friends about me!
Now you know the exact procedure of my
business and ethics.
I have a very large client database. I also have a
long waiting list due to my professional methods of business.
This is why my vehicles do not last more than 5 days in inventory.
